1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit websites. Similar technologies also include: local storage (localStorage), session storage, and device identifiers in the mobile app.
This Policy complies with the EU ePrivacy Directive 2009/136/EC, GDPR 2016/679, California CCPA/CPRA, and Ukrainian law.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
2.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Essential for basic website and app functionality: security, user session, language preferences. No consent required, but blocking them may affect usability. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
2.2. Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how visitors interact with our site. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, USA) — traffic analysis. IPs anonymized. SCC applies for EU. Opt-out: Google Opt-out;
- PostHog (PostHog, Inc., USA) — product analytics in the app. Anonymized identifiers used; directly identifying data is not transferred.
2.3. Functional Cookies
Remember your preferences and chosen language. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
3. Cookie Consent and Management
On your first visit, a cookie consent banner is displayed. You may:
- Accept all — allow all categories;
- Customize — keep only necessary cookies;
- Decline — reject all non-essential cookies.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings link at the bottom of the screen (if available) or through your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
4. Cookie Retention
- Session cookies — deleted when browser is closed;
- Persistent cookies — up to 13 months or until consent is withdrawn;
- Analytics data (Google Analytics) — up to 14 months (GA4 default);
- PostHog identifiers — up to 12 months or until app is uninstalled.
5. International Data Transfers
Google Analytics and PostHog may transfer collected data to servers outside Ukraine or the EU (including the USA). We protect such transfers through EU SCC or EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification.
6. Your Rights
- Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time;
- Request information about what data is collected and how it is used;
- Request deletion of your data.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): right to know, right to deletion, right to opt out of sharing (we do not share your data).
7. Policy Updates
We may update this Policy. Changes will be communicated via a banner on the website or by email (if subscribed).
