Last year, Irpin residents already went through a water tariff increase — from 32 to 56.88 hrn/m³. Now the utility company has submitted new justification: electricity has become more expensive by 58%, fuel — by up to 62%, and the wage tariff rate will increase from 200% to 260%.
Documents are being seized from the department as part of a pre-trial investigation. This is not a technical formality — it concerns mechanisms that affect the city's budget and investor confidence.
On December 18 Brussels was transformed into an arena of large-scale confrontation. Thousands of farmers on hundreds of tractors blocked the European Quarter, where EU leaders had gathered for a summit. According to the documents, the goods were declared as a fuel additive, but Turkish customs confirmed the shipment contained undenatured ethyl alcohol and methanol. The consignment’s value is about UAH 3.5 million; a criminal case has been opened.
