Russia launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv with kamikaze drones on the evening of November 23. Three people were killed, and another 15 were injured. This was reported by the city mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
Details of the Attack
The first drone strike was recorded at 21:29. According to preliminary data, one "Shahed" hit a private house in the Shevchenkivskyi district, resulting in one fatality. A strike was also recorded in the Saltivskyi district, reported the head of the regional administration, Oleg Synehubov.
As a result of the drone strikes, a fire broke out in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Among the injured is a 12-year-old child, the official clarified later.
Attacks in Other Regions
Last night, the Dnipropetrovsk region was affected by Russian shelling. In Dnipro, 15 people were injured as a result of a drone attack.
In Odesa region, fires broke out and houses were damaged due to drone strikes.
Context
Russia regularly attacks Ukrainian cities with Iranian-made "Shahed" strike drones. Kharkiv, located 40 kilometers from the border with the Russian Federation, has been suffering from daily shelling since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
