The Specialized Anti‑Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) has asked the High Anti‑Corruption Court to transfer to the state's revenue assets worth more than UAH 8.6 million that, according to investigators, belong to a Member of Parliament of Ukraine.
SAPO's lawsuit
The prosecutor filed a claim with the High Anti‑Corruption Court seeking to declare as unjustified assets registered to a number of natural and legal persons connected to the parliamentarian.
Property and use
Law enforcement agencies indicate that the case concerns Sergii Lytvynenko — a Member of Parliament of the IX convocation, elected in constituency No. 156 (Rivne region) from the Servant of the People party, and a member of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy.
The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NACP) and SAPO established that in 2020–2021 the deputy's unofficial drivers and a private company associated with him purchased three 2020 model vehicles: a Toyota Land Cruiser 200, a BMW 730LD and a BMW X5.

Investigators note that these vehicles were used by the Member of Parliament himself. After comparing the declared incomes and expenditures of the parliamentarian and his family members, the anti‑corruption authorities concluded that it would have been impossible to purchase such cars with lawful funds.
Declaration and voting
In Lytvynenko's 2022 declaration he reported UAH 411,000 in income from work at the Verkhovna Rada; his wife, Evelina, declared UAH 100,000 earned at the Zirne alcohol plant — these are the couple's only annual receipts listed in the document.
In the section on vehicles the parliamentarian listed three cars, but he registered ownership only of a VAZ‑21093; the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and BMW 730LD are indicated in the declaration as vehicles he uses, not ones he owns.
