From the frontline cities of Donetsk region to a community that has become an example of resilience and development during the war. Participants of the pilot program "Leadership for the Recovery of Donetsk," organized by the Donetsk Regional Military Administration in collaboration with Mariupol State University, visited the Bilohorodka community in Kyiv region.
This was not just an excursion. It was an exchange of experience, ideas, and faith. Young leaders from Mariupol, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, and other war-affected cities witnessed firsthand: life goes on! Educational institutions are operational, children are attending school, and the community is recovering and developing despite shelling and difficulties.
Bilohorodka demonstrated not theory, but reality. Schools, lyceums, cooperation with IDPs, social initiatives, and work during emergencies—all of this became invaluable experience for the guests. Most importantly, they saw a vibrant, full life that can be built even during wartime. These young leaders are the future of Donetsk.
