Heat for hospitals and schools — from Italy

At the meeting, they also highlighted new assistance from the Italian side — modular boiler equipment for the communities of the Kyiv region. Modern hot-water boilers will strengthen the autonomy of heating systems and ensure stable warmth for large hospitals, social institutions, and educational facilities even during attacks on energy infrastructure.

Children's hospital in Boyarka — the next step

Mykola Kalashnyk told the ambassador about the long-term modernization of the Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital in Boyarka and appealed to Italian partners to support the institution with modern medical equipment. After a joint visit to the hospital, Ambassador Carlo Formosa said he is already negotiating with Italian companies about installing solar panels for the medical facility — which will provide it with energy independence.

«The ambassador confirmed the Italian side's readiness to continue supporting the Kyiv region. We can rely on Italy's assistance in strengthening the resilience of our communities»
