Pokrovsk, November 21 – Enemy forces in the Pokrovsk area are suffering significant losses, which has forced the Russian command to deploy reserve units. This was reported by the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.
"The enemy is incurring serious losses in manpower. To restore combat capability, the command of the Russian 'Center' military group has already engaged operational reserves – units of the 76th Air Assault Division," the Air Assault Forces noted.
Ukrainian defenders are holding key positions in the northern part of Pokrovsk and controlling strategic positions south of the railway line, which are important for future de-occupation operations.
To deter the offensive and conduct counterattacks, the Ukrainian group is being reinforced, primarily with drone operators. The priority task remains to block enemy logistics routes, including strikes by tactical and army aviation.
In the northern approaches to Myrnohrad, the destruction of enemy infantry is nearing completion. Additional forces have been deployed to search for and eliminate Russian groups spotted in the southern part of the settlement.
"Small enemy units attempted to infiltrate Hryshyne to the northwest of Pokrovsk, but were timely detected and destroyed," the military added.
It is worth noting that on November 11, footage appeared showing a Russian column entering Pokrovsk – difficult weather conditions with fog complicated the work of Ukrainian drones. The Air Assault Forces confirmed the presence of over 300 occupiers in the city, who are trying to advance to the northern borders and create encirclement. However, on November 12, Commander Syrskyi refuted information about Russian control over the city or the threat of operational encirclement of the Ukrainian group.
