An electronic notification system for cosmetic products has been launched in Ukraine, creating a single digital product registry and bringing national approaches closer to European safety standards.

Functions of the electronic system

Before the introduction of this platform, notification of cosmetics was not carried out centrally, and products reached store shelves without a unified record.

From now on, manufacturers and import companies are required to enter detailed information about their products into the system.

The launch of this system is another step toward Ukraine’s full integration into the European market and safety standards. Thanks to digital tools, we gain a transparent and unified process for accounting for cosmetic products. This not only protects consumers but also creates clear and predictable rules for businesses

– Mariia Karchevych, Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development

In the first phase, users will be able to register a responsible person and company employees, notify products, log changes to records, and generate certificates for notified products without disclosing trade secrets.

Plans for government agencies

In the future, tools will be added to the system for government institutions that carry out toxicological control so they can promptly provide doctors with data on the composition of cosmetic products.

  • On December 1, the Ministry of Health announced that, starting January 1, 2026, the preventive vaccination schedule will change and will include mandatory vaccination against 11 infectious diseases.
