The second wave of UAH 1,000 payments under the "Winter Support" program has begun.
Who is receiving payments
About 2.5 million additional Ukrainians who applied through Diia on 16 November will receive funds, including parents who applied for child payments

The total amount of payments in the second wave exceeds UAH 3 billion.
In the first wave, UAH 1,000 was received by 1.8 million citizens who receive pensions and social benefits through Ukrposhta, as well as 1.7 million users of the Diia app who submitted applications on 15 November.
People spend the payments mainly on utility bills, buying books and charity; the total amount of such spending reached about UAH 473 million

Number of applications and deadlines
As of 1 December, more than 14 million applications have been submitted: 11.4 million through Diia (including 2.9 million for children), and nearly 700,000 submitted at Ukrposhta branches. This total also includes 1.8 million pension and benefit recipients.
Applications can be submitted until 24 December.
Experience last year
- Last year the eSupport service was used by 14.4 million Ukrainians. The program was criticized for reallocating UAH 3.8 billion from business support and demining programs to finance the National Cashback and one-off payments.
Last year 14.4 million people received winter eSupport, and questions also arose then about redirecting UAH 3.8 billion to other initiatives.
