Nearly UAH 100 million — for the country's defense
The main emphasis of 2025 was support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Throughout the year the community allocated nearly UAH 100 million to the needs of the military. By this measure, the Bilohorodska community ranks among the leaders among communities in the Kyiv region.
At the same session, procured equipment was handed over to three military units where defenders from the Bilohorodska community serve — the decision to purchase it was made at previous meetings.

Energy independence and international support
At the same time, the community worked systematically to increase security and energy independence. A key area was the active engagement of international aid and partner support to implement infrastructure projects.
Education reform: lyceums will become gymnasiums
Councilors approved a plan to form an efficient network of general secondary education institutions for 2026–2027. The reform provides for changing the status of some lyceums — they are to be granted gymnasium status. This will require substantial preparatory work, attracting funding, and the reconstruction and construction of new buildings.
"This is a large and complex issue. We will prepare a separate publication with a presentation later, where we will explain in detail how the education reform will work in practice."
