On 9 December a junior corporal of the British Armed Forces was killed in Ukraine.
Identification of the serviceman
The United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence confirmed the identity of the deceased: George Guli, 28, who served in the Parachute Regiment.
Circumstances of the incident
According to available information, he was wounded during a tragic incident while observing the testing of new defence equipment being conducted by Ukrainian forces.
It is reported the incident occurred outside the front line.
