Ukraine national team and Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin took fifth place in the updated ranking of the world's most expensive goalkeepers compiled by the CIES Football Observatory.
Analysts valued Trubin's market value at €45.2 million.
World goalkeepers ranking
The top position in the list was taken by the goalkeeper of the Italy national team and Manchester City, Gianluigi Donnarumma, with a valuation of €73.5 million. In second place was Brighton & Hove Albion and Netherlands national team goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen — €60.8 million. Third place went to PSG’s French goalkeeper Luc Chevalier with a valuation of €59.8 million.
Other transfers and clubs
In August, defender Illia Zabarnyi transferred to PSG for €67 million. In a separate 2025 clubs ranking, Real Madrid topped the list of the world's most valuable football teams.
