During the night of Tuesday, September 8, Kyiv came under another attack. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, two people were killed and seven more were injured as of 06:30.
Unfortunately, there is also information about 2 people killed as a result of an enemy attack
In the Podil district, a fire was recorded in a warehouse facility as a result of a direct hit. In the Holosiyivsky district, a fire broke out on the territory of an educational institution. People became trapped in one of the residential buildings — rescue services are working at the scene.
Earlier the same night, reports came of a rocket strike on the city, which damaged a residential building and a car.
What is known at this moment
- An air raid alert remains in effect in Kyiv due to the threat of unmanned aerial vehicles.
- The number of casualties and the scale of damage are being clarified.
- Municipal and rescue services are working at multiple locations simultaneously — Podil, Holosiyivsky, and the site of the rocket strike.
Final data on casualties and damage will emerge after the completion of debris clearing and the cancellation of the air raid alert. The question that remains open: whether the city's infrastructure can withstand repeated waves of strikes without long-term consequences for energy supply in the fall.
