Due to enemy attacks, some consumers in three regions remain without electricity supply, the Ministry of Energy reported.
As a result of combat operations and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions are temporarily without electricity supply
Where the security situation permits, restoration work is ongoing. Energy workers are working to restore power supply to all consumers.
No schedules, but with a recommendation
The Ministry of Energy clarified that the application of restrictions is not expected today. However, active energy consumption is recommended to be shifted to daytime hours — from 10:00 to 17:00.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption corresponds to seasonal indicators. As of 09:30 on August 14, consumption levels did not differ from the previous day. Yesterday, August 13, the daily maximum was recorded in the evening and was 1.6% lower than the figure for Wednesday, August 12 — the heat is subsiding, and the need for air conditioning in most regions is decreasing.
Attacks on energy infrastructure remain regular: on August 13, Russia struck energy facilities in the Odesa region, leaving parts of four regions without power. The question is whether the system will withstand this pace of strikes until the end of the heating season, or whether the load on repair crews will continue to increase.
