On the night of July 2, Russia attacked Kyiv with a combined strike: attack drones, ballistic missiles, cruise Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea, and hypersonic Zircon missiles. According to city authorities, over 30 locations were damaged across all districts of the capital—predominantly residential buildings and civilian infrastructure facilities.

The Warehouse Is Ash, the Team Is Alive

Among the destroyed objects was a warehouse of the Moyo electronics retail chain in the Obolonsky district. The company confirmed the complete destruction of the facility in its official Telegram channel.

"Today is a very difficult day for Moyo. An enemy strike completely destroyed our warehouse. All night and morning, all necessary services have been working at the site. Most importantly—people are alive."

The company added that new orders for goods available on the website are being accepted. Customers who have already placed orders were promised either delivery after operations resume or refunds.

The Scale of the Strike: What Is Known About the City

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) and Mayor Vitali Klitschko, by the morning of July 2, the death toll in Kyiv reached 10 people, with over 34 injured. Among the affected were five medical workers from an ambulance station in the Shevchenko district; one paramedic was in critical condition.

  • Desnyansky district: a 9-story building partially destroyed, people were trapped
  • Shevchenko district: ambulance station building damaged
  • Obolonsky district: fire at a warehouse facility (including the Moyo warehouse)
  • Sviatoshynsky district: private houses damaged, fires
  • Darnitsky district: private sector fires, debris near residential buildings

According to RBC-Ukraine, citing Kyiv Regional Governor Mykola Kalashnik, five districts in the Kyiv region were also affected—houses, warehouse facilities, and vehicles were damaged there.

Weapons: A Combined Strike From Multiple Directions

According to monitoring channels, launches of Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea were recorded, along with repeated launches of Zircon missiles and ballistic rockets. During the air raid alert, Klitschko called on Kyiv residents to remain in shelters, emphasizing repeated launches toward the capital. Air defense operated in several districts simultaneously.

The destruction of the Moyo warehouse is a private dimension of an attack that affected dozens of addresses. The company has not yet reported estimated timelines for logistics restoration or the scale of losses. If insurance mechanisms and state compensation for businesses do not work quickly—Moyo will become another example of how a single strike erases years of work without any compensation mechanism.
