The Minister of Energy, Svitlana Hrynchuk, has resigned. She announced this on her Facebook page.

«In the course of my professional activities, there have been no violations of the law. Any claims to the contrary are unfounded. As for speculations regarding my personal relationships — any speculation on this topic is inappropriate,» Hrynchuk stated.

The resignation is linked to an investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) regarding corruption at "Energoatom." In particular, the "Mindycha tapes" revealed that prior to her appointment as minister, she may have interviewed with one of the suspects. This fact is mentioned in the pre-trial investigation materials as evidence that the suspect previously influenced personnel decisions in the energy sector.

On November 12, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Hrynchuk and another figure from the tapes, Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko, could not remain in their positions due to a loss of trust.

Svitlana Hrynchuk was appointed Minister of Energy on July 17, 2025. Prior to this, she led the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources for almost a year, and from 2023 to 2024, she served as Deputy Minister of Energy.

The minister noted that the position has never been an end in itself for her and thanked the president, government, and parliament for the opportunity to serve the state.
