The names of nine performers who advanced to the final of the national selection for Eurovision 2026 have been announced. Among the longlist participants who did not make the final after two days of auditions, a ranked online vote will be held in January in the Diia mobile application.
How the tenth will be chosen
The final, i.e., the tenth finalist, will be determined based on the vote in Diia. The full list of finalists is to be published by 15 January 2026. The national selection final itself is scheduled for February.

Host city and dates
Organizers announced that Vienna was chosen as the host city for Eurovision 2026; the contest will take place at the Wiener Stadthalle. This decision is linked to the victory of Austria’s representative J.J. at the 2025 contest.
Following controversies surrounding Israel, changes were made to the voting rules, which have already begun to be applied in preparation for the next contest.
