What the play is about

This is not an ordinary theatre. Beside the actress on stage — a soldier who has been defending the homeland since the first day of the full-scale invasion. Together they will tell, perform, and live through the stories of people just like you and me: about love, joy, pain, and a war that has long become part of our everyday life.

A comedy and a tragedy at the same time. Unbearable humor and incredible, yet real, battles. A performance you will certainly be talking about the next day.

Creative team

Director — Anatoliy Neyolov, artistic director of the theatre «Black Square». Actress — Anna Yanovitska. Also on stage — Yevhen Avdeyenko, Honored Artist of Ukraine, who has been at the front for all four years since February 24, 2022.
