Kremlin receives key parameters of peace plan for Ukraine

The main provisions of the peace plan, supported by the United States, for Ukraine and Russia were conveyed to the Kremlin following talks in Geneva. Discussions are scheduled to take place in Moscow next week.

The Kremlin was handed the main provisions of the U.S.-approved peace plan for Ukraine and Russia after talks in Geneva. Discussion of these provisions will take place next week in Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

It is expected that next week U.S. President Donald Trump's special representative, Steven Witkoff, will arrive in Moscow.

Trump confirmed the envoy's visit to Moscow for a meeting with Vladimir Putin.

On November 20, Axios published Trump's 28-point peace plan for Ukraine and Russia, which envisages territorial concessions, restrictions on the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as some U.S. guarantees and economic measures.

In connection with this, Ukraine and the U.S. began talks in Geneva, which took place November 23–24. As a result, the initial plan was reduced to 19 points, although Trump also mentioned 22 points.

There were also talks between the U.S. delegation and Russian representatives in Abu Dhabi.
