In the evening of July 30, emergency responders completed work to eliminate the consequences of a massive Russian strike in Kyiv, while rescue and emergency operations continue in Lviv. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
During the night of July 30, enemy shelling caused fires and destruction in the Obolon and Sviatoshyn districts of the capital – at a market site, a garage cooperative, and in a five-story non-residential building. According to updated information from the State Emergency Service, one person was killed in the Kyiv attack, and three others were injured.
In Lviv, rescuers extracted the body of a person from the rubble of a five-story residential building. The head of the regional administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, clarified that a man was killed. According to rescuers, one death and 30 injured are currently confirmed, three of them children. Preliminary reports suggest more people may still be under the rubble.
Scale of the Attack
During the night of July 30, the occupiers carried out another massive strike on Ukraine, using hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles of various types. In the village of Radushne in Dnipropetrovsk region, members of one family were killed due to a direct hit from a ballistic missile on a private house – this was reported by President Zelensky.
The head of state held a meeting with the leadership of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense, with countering Russian ballistic missiles among the topics discussed.
Poland's Response
During the attack, an explosion also occurred on Polish territory: a crater was discovered between villages in the Lublin Voivodeship. Foreign Minister Sibiha stated that it concerns a Russian X-101 cruise missile. The foreign ministers of Ukraine and Poland held a telephone conversation, discussing the protection of airspace.
Work in Lviv continues – the final number of casualties and the condition of people under the rubble will become known after the structural debris is cleared.
