Everyone who works in a cafe, coworking space, or on an airplane knows this moment: the laptop is open, the mouse is connected — and suddenly it turns out that the headphones are at home or dead in a separate case at the bottom of a backpack. Honor built an entire product around this scenario.
What's Inside the Mouse
Honor Choice MouseBuds Pro is a compact wireless mouse whose rear half of the body is a charging case for TWS headphones. As soon as the mouse is connected to a laptop via a USB receiver, the headphones automatically sync with the same device — no separate Bluetooth pairing is required.
The headphones support active noise cancellation (ANC). A notable detail noted by NotebookCheck: they are of a semi-open type — without silicone ear inserts, which is atypical for ANC solutions. This means a compromise: noise cancellation is present, but isolation is weaker than in classic earbuds.
- Sensor: PixArt, 1200 DPI
- Switches: TTC quiet, lifespan — 5 million clicks
- Battery: 1000 mAh, up to 30 days of battery life with typical use
- Charging: USB-C
- Surface: excimer coating — resistant to fingerprints
Two Modes, One Button
A switch on the body toggles the device between modes. In computer mode, the mouse and headphones work through the USB receiver as a single device. In smartphone mode, the headphones disconnect from the mouse and connect to the phone via Bluetooth independently — meaning they can be used separately without the mouse.

Price and Availability
As of April 2026, the Honor Choice MouseBuds Pro is available in Germany for €99.90. Sales in the US have not yet started. Honor has not officially announced the launch in other markets.
Where the Catch Is
The concept has a built-in limitation: is the mouse symmetrical or ergonomic? Judging by the photos and Honor UK's description, the body has "ergonomic curves," but this is a travel format — meaning compact, not full-size. For an eight-hour workday at a desk, this could be less comfortable than for a four-hour flight.
Additionally, Honor's 30 days of battery life is calculated using its own Yueme laboratory formula: active mouse use plus one hour of voice calls per day. Real-world use with more frequent calls or music will reduce this figure.
If Honor makes the next generation of MouseBuds with a full-size ergonomic body and improved headphone isolation — will it remain a niche gadget for travelers, or will it become a standard accessory for remote work?
