From December 23 Vodafone is updating tariffs for most prepaid subscribers and launching a "roam like at home" service. Ukrainian customers will be able to use their plans in EU countries without additional charges, just as at home.

Under the new terms, part of the mobile data and all bundled minutes will be available both within Ukraine and while in the EU. The prices of the tariff plans themselves will remain unchanged.

New roaming conditions

  • incoming calls in EU countries will remain free;
  • minutes from bundles intended for calls to Ukrainian numbers can be used for outgoing calls in the EU;
  • a portion of the megabytes from the bundle will be available abroad;
  • rates for out-of-bundle minutes, internet and SMS will be the same in Ukraine and in the EU.

Tariffs and exclusions

The update will not affect legacy plans 4G Smart (Light, XS, XS+), Device and Light. Subscribers on such packages will be offered to switch to current plans that support the "roam like at home" service.

In addition, Vodafone is working on laying an undersea cable across the Black Sea to bypass Russia. Any subscriber can contact their operator to request that their number be blocked.
