Launch and user activity

After the launch of the new monoBazar service in the monobank app, users posted 17,000 listings within the first three hours, said monobank co‑founder Oleh Horokhovskyi.

Marketplace features

monoBazar is a marketplace within the app for private individuals to sell items. The platform is available in the "Market" section in beta; each user can create their own storefront and share it on social networks or send it to acquaintances.

Payments can be split into installments. The system also automatically generates an item description from a few words, and buyers can send requests to lower the price without needing to rewrite the listing.

Funds are transferred to the seller only after the buyer receives the item. If the purchase is unsatisfactory, the item can be returned and the money will be refunded automatically. Until January 8 the selling fee is 0.1%, after which it will rise to 1.9%; the buyer additionally pays only for delivery.

Other app updates

In addition to the launch of monoBazar, the app added shared cards for managing a family budget and a feature to file complaints about suspicious charges.
