On November 17 at 1:00 PM, a presentation of the White Paper and the draft Law of Ukraine "On the System of Transition from Service in the Security and Defense Sector to Civil Life" will take place in the capital. Participants will discuss the key provisions of the document, coordination mechanisms between agencies, and will submit their own proposals.
The event was announced by Taras Tarasenko, a Member of Parliament and a member of the Social Policy Committee of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to recent studies, over 66% of military personnel face challenges when returning to civilian life, thus creating a legislative framework for their support is a critical necessity, emphasizes the deputy.
"We have developed a draft law that will establish clear, effective, and consistent mechanisms for supporting military personnel on their journey from discharge to returning home. We are also laying the groundwork for systemic support during demobilization," notes Tarasenko.
