Ukraine and the United States have agreed on regular supplies of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this during a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, according to UNN.

According to Zelensky, the United States currently has the greatest capacity to help Ukraine with Patriot missiles.

The United States will supply Ukraine with Patriot interceptor missiles every month. We have such an agreement

At the same time, the president emphasized that even with regular supplies, the available number of missiles is insufficient for the complete protection of Ukraine from Russian attacks.

These missiles are insufficient. I won't say the exact figure, but the number of missiles decreased in 2026, last year there were more of them in the world

Production Context

The statement came against the backdrop of reports about negotiations regarding Patriot production directly in Ukraine, which the United States continues despite Trump's restrained position on this issue.

The key question is whether global interceptor missile production can be ramped up faster than the intensity of Russian air attacks increases.
