Situation as of Sunday Morning
As of 10:00 on Sunday, November 23, Ukrainian defenders are conducting search-and-strike operations to eliminate Russians in Pokrovsk.
"Our positions are maintained in the city center, gun battles are ongoing, and the enemy is unable to establish a foothold."

Clearing from Occupants
The military noted that assault groups continue to be involved in the elimination of the occupants in the city center in coordination with other units. Recently, the separate assault battalion "Skala" conducted a clearing operation from enemy presence in the area of the railway station, Pokrovsk Pedagogical College, and Soborny Square.
This has allowed for the blocking of Russian attempts to accumulate forces to increase pressure on the northern part of the city. In the event of any attempts to cross there via the railway, the occupants will suffer maximum losses.
Overall, since the beginning of November, Ukrainian military forces have destroyed 388 occupants in Pokrovsk, with another 87 wounded, according to the Airborne Assault Forces.
Context
On November 12, Commander Syrsky assured that there is no question of Russian control over Pokrovsk or the operational encirclement of the Defense Forces grouping.
On November 21, paratroopers reported that the Russian army had reinforced the Pokrovsk area to replenish personnel losses.
