Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Kyiv with ballistic missiles during the night of August 1. Fires broke out in at least three districts of the capital as a result of the strikes, and there is information about wounded persons, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.
In the Solomianski district, a six-story building caught fire following the attack, and cars in a parking lot are also burning.
As of 2:20, at least two people are known to have been wounded. All affected persons are receiving qualified medical assistance

In the Shevchenko district, a fire broke out at a car wash as a result of a strike. In the Darnytsky district, a hit on non-residential buildings was recorded.
The consequences of the shelling have been confirmed in three districts of Kyiv, and information about casualties is being clarified.
Threat of repeated strikes
According to information from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the threat of ballistic strikes on the capital persists. The KCMA urged residents not to leave shelters even after the air raid alert is lifted.
According to monitoring channels, approximately 20 ballistic missiles were launched at Kyiv over the course of roughly half an hour. There is currently no official confirmation of this figure.
Local public accounts also report power and water supply disruptions in some districts. Official information about the causes and scope of the outages has not yet been released.
Kyivans remain in shelters until the Air Force cancels the threat of repeated strikes.
