What happened

Ukrposhta announced the launch of a single contract for business clients instead of several separate agreements for different services. According to the company's press service, the initiative is primarily aimed at small businesses and is intended to reduce paperwork, simplify service onboarding, and give clients greater flexibility in managing logistics.

Details and timing

The new contract can be signed online. The transition to the new model began in March and will be implemented gradually. According to the official statement, “By the end of 2026 business clients are to switch to the single contract. At the same time, all existing agreements continue to operate under their previous terms, and the transition will be carried out with the support of the company’s managers.”

Why it matters

The decision fits logically into the overall digitalization course referred to by Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smilianskyi: in February the company announced the next stage of digital services, including the ability to pay for and manage deliveries in the mobile app. For small businesses this means faster onboarding, less paperwork, and greater control over logistics — critically important factors amid economic uncertainty and growing demand for online sales.

What businesses should do

Prospective and existing Ukrposhta clients should review their current agreements and start preparing for the transition: familiarize themselves with the terms of the new contract, use the online-signing option, and, if necessary, contact the company’s managers for support. Since current agreements will remain in effect until the transition is complete, businesses have time for gradual adaptation.

Brief conclusion

Consolidating contracts is a practical step that should reduce the administrative burden on small businesses and accelerate the digital transformation of postal services. At the same time, the project’s success will depend on quality implementation: clear terms, transparent communication, and the technical reliability of online tools. Whether Ukrposhta will be able to carry the project through to completion on schedule is a question for management and partners, but for entrepreneurs the main thing now is to use the transition as an opportunity to optimize logistics today.
