Updated Chrome versions

Google has released another update to the Chrome browser for major operating systems — Windows, macOS and Linux. The stable build has been updated to 143.0.7499.109/110, the Beta received version 144.0.7559.20, and Extended Stable moved to 142.0.7499.235. The update is being rolled out in stages.

Vulnerabilities and recommendations

The new release fixes three security vulnerabilities. Two of them are rated as moderate and are related to the password manager and the toolbar. The researchers who discovered these bugs received a $2,000 reward each.

Another vulnerability, for which details have not yet been disclosed, is already being observed in real-world attacks. In light of this, Google strongly recommends installing the update as soon as it becomes available for your system.

If you encounter problems during installation or after updating, the company advises turning to the support forum or sending bug reports via the appropriate reporting tools.

Previously, attackers used tools like ChatGPT, Grok and Google search results to promote malware. Apple has also warned iPhone users about the spread of spyware.
