Russia attacked the south of the Odesa region at night with "Shahed" drones — civilian and energy infrastructure facilities were targeted, the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, reported.
An energy facility, an administrative building, and several private-sector households were damaged in the region. Fires broke out as a result of the strikes; they were promptly extinguished by emergency services.
Power outages occurred due to damage to the energy facility. According to Kiper, there were no reports of injured or killed.
Aftermath
A city headquarters for dealing with the aftermath is operating at the attack site, and 11 "points of invincibility" have been deployed to assist residents. Critical infrastructure is temporarily running on generators.
DTEK facility affected
A DTEK energy facility was hit, the company reported. 8,000 households were reconnected via backup schemes. Another 36,300 households were temporarily left without power.
Energy crews are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity as quickly as possible, DTEK said.
