"Silent Scream": when dance is stronger than words

The World Championship among formation teams in sport dance, held on December 13 in Vienna (Austria), was a true triumph for the Irpin club «Adagio». The team, led by coaches Vitaliy Petrovych and Kateryna Dmytrivna, claimed an honorable 5th place among the world’s top ensembles. This achievement carries extraordinary weight, as it was accomplished by a team from a city that endured a brutal occupation only a year ago.

A key element of the performance was the piece «Silent Scream». Its philosophy, inspired by the symbol of the three monkeys — "not to hear evil, not to see evil, not to speak evil" — became a direct and powerful allusion to the world’s indifference to war and aggression. The young Ukrainian dancers used the international stage to declare: one cannot remain silent in the face of injustice, and it is important to speak the truth.

«Adagio» did not merely display high sporting skill. They delivered a strong, emotionally charged civic message that made the entire world dance elite reflect. This is a victory not only in sport but also a moral one, once again underlining the power of Ukrainian culture and truth.

Kyiv region — a forge of champions

The success of «Adagio» in Austria once again proves that Kyiv region, despite all the challenges of war, remains a true forge of talent. Our young athletes continue to demonstrate strength, mastery, and the highest level of preparation on the world stage.

Context: This triumph harmoniously continues a series of recent victories. Recall that recently young weightlifters from another hard-hit city — Bucha — took **first overall team place** at the open Championship in Teglash, Hungary, winning 8 gold and 1 silver medal. Ukrainians continue to defeat not only the occupiers but also to break world records. This is a victory on all fronts.
