The mining and metallurgical complex "ArcelorMittal" in Kryvyi Rih came under a Russian missile attack. Two people were killed, the plant reported.
PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" reports that last night our enterprise suffered a missile strike from the aggressor country. As a result of the enemy attack, 13 employees of the enterprise and subcontractors were injured. Unfortunately, one person was killed. Rescue and search operations are ongoing
An emergency response plan has been activated at the enterprise. Fire service, occupational safety department, rescue workers and medical personnel are working on site. The injured are receiving necessary medical care at medical facilities in the city.
Production Impact
The main production facilities of energy and blast furnace production were damaged, with partial shutdown of the plant's production processes. Specialists are assessing the extent of damage and the possibilities and timeline for recovery.
As of 10:16, the company reported the discovery of another body. In total, two people were killed in the attack.

The largest metallurgical plant "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" belongs to Indian billionaire Lakshmi Mittal through ArcelorMittal. The plant specializes in the production of long products, including rebar and wire rod from conventional and low-alloy steel grades, and also produces sinter, concentrate, coke, pig iron, steel, and shaped rolled products.
