The State Property Fund announced that on December 10 an auction will be held to sell the property complex of the state enterprise "Slavutskyi Budfarfor Combine" in Khmelnytskyi region.

Information about the complex

The starting bid for the lot is UAH 207.6 million. The complex comprises 38 buildings: a café-bar, retail premises, production workshops, garages, warehouses and other outdoor and indoor structures. The total area of the facilities exceeds 80,000 square metres.

History and previous attempts

The enterprise was established in 1909 and specialised in the production of porcelain sanitary ware — in particular toilets, cisterns, various types of washbasins and pedestals. Since 2003, the production premises were leased to several companies: initially to the UkrBudMaterials corporation, then to Sanitec Corporation, and later to Geberit. After building its own logistics centre in Slavuta, Geberit terminated the lease agreement on the old production premises.

The property complex has already been put up for sale before: auctions scheduled for July 23 and October 2 did not take place.

  • In the Cherkasy region, a court returned the property complex of the Kam'yanskyi spirits plant to state ownership.
  • A court annulled the sale agreement for the property complex of the Trylianskyi distillery.
