Cabinet appoints Vitaliy Petruk as the 13th deputy of the mega-ministry

Vitaliy Petruk was appointed the 13th deputy minister of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture. The mega-ministry was created in July 2025 by merging three agencies and has a staff of about 1,500 employees.

Appointment and position

The Cabinet of Ministers approved Vitaliy Petruk for the position of the 13th Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture. Previously, Petruk served as the State Secretary in this ministry.

Structure and staff

The ministry was created in July 2025 by merging the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.

The ministry employs around 1,500 staff.
