Validation in real-world conditions
The Armed Forces have begun testing the software product СКП УППС — a system for automating food supply. The testing is taking place under combat conditions to ensure the tool can withstand the load and matches real workflows before wide deployment.
What the system does
СКП УППС tracks food stocks, generates supply requests, automatically compiles menus according to norms, and produces reports on product usage. The main users are heads of the food service, who are responsible for providing personnel with quality and timely meals.

Why it matters
Automating processes is not a technical whim but a necessity of the time. When logistics work more efficiently, less time and fewer resources are spent on paperwork, the risk of human error decreases, and the speed of restoring supplies in critical areas increases. For the front line, this means more stable provisioning and fewer losses due to downtime or inefficient use of stocks.
Context and next steps
СКП УППС complements digital solutions already implemented in the Armed Forces — for example, the information system "Budget", rolled out on 3 December. After validation is completed, the program is planned to be integrated into the unified digital logistics ecosystem and rolled out across all units.
The question that will determine the effectiveness of scaling: how quickly trials will be completed in field conditions and whether the system will be adapted to the specifics of different units. That will decide whether СКП УППС becomes the standard for modern rear-area support in the Armed Forces.
