In Bilohorodka, the boxing ring became a place of unity for the community, the families of fallen soldiers and Ukraine's sporting elite. It was not just a tournament but a powerful signal: we remember every person who gave their life for Ukraine.
While the country is focused on the front, the home front is being strengthened. In the Kyiv region an important step toward comprehensive security has been taken: a new police station has opened in the Zazymia community.
Amid persistent Russian attacks on critical infrastructure, the Kyiv region has taken a decisive step to ensure security and sustainable development. Regional leaders reached an agreement with Denmark on key areas of support that go far beyond standard humanitarian aid. While the enemy seeks to destroy our energy infrastructure, Western partners are supplying technologies essential for survival.
A tragedy occurred in the village of Bilohorodka in Bucha district — the bodies of three people were found in a private home, the prosecutor’s office reported.
The Saint Nicholas Residence was held in the Bilohorod community and was attended by more than 1,000 children. The youngsters wrote letters, took part in workshops, and received gifts. Among the guests were internally displaced children from the Soledar community.
The Bilohorodska community signed a memorandum with the Amosov Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. The agreement provides for referring patients for cardiac surgical care, outreach consultations by specialists, and the professional development of local medical staff.
On December 10 at 10:00 a.m. in Kyiv the renovated Bessarabsky Market opened in test mode. Traditional market trading has been preserved, and a food hall featuring international cuisines and a bar has been introduced. The modernization included new refrigeration and retail equipment; the works were scheduled from May 19 to August 19, 2025, with no interference in the landmark's authentic elements.
The project name "Mostytska" will be changed before the station is put into operation. In 2026 Kyiv residents will choose the final name via the "Kyiv Digital" app from three proposed options.
The Bilohorodska community allocated UAH 2 million to the National Guard, where local residents serve. It also approved a joint project with its German twin town to purchase a sludge suction truck and ratified cost estimates for major repairs to the outpatient clinic and the sewage system.
On Armed Forces Day, the Bilohorodska community held the Ukrainian Tug-of-War Championship. Fifty teams from various regions took part. The village head took charge of the federation’s regional branch for the sport in Kyiv Oblast.
Twenty-five families in the Bilohorod community will receive compensation for housing damaged in the enemy attack on November 29. The village council allocated UAH 587,000 for restoration. Aid for military personnel and residents under other programs was also approved.
The Ministry of Culture designated several NGOs and companies as critically important to the economy, including Wikimedia Ukraine, Slidstvo.Info and the "Ye" bookstore chain. It also confirmed the status for a number of media outlets and publishers.
Anton Ovsienko reported on talks in France, where he discussed cooperation between the Bilohorod community and Bures-sur-Yvette and future joint projects.
The sports ground in Sviatopetrivske has been completely reconstructed: new surfacing, equipment, lighting and fencing. Village head Anton Ovsiienko announced the completion of the work.
The Bilohorodska community received from the French government an Energy BOX unit equipped with solar panels with a capacity of 104 kW. The installation will be used to power the community's critical infrastructure.
Bilohorodska village council allocated more than UAH 1.3 million in material assistance to defenders and participants in the "Turbota" ("Care") program. Children of combatants will receive free school meals, and a commission has been established to address housing issues for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
